Harri Rovanperä and Harri Toivonen at Rallylegend

The two new arrivals add up to the already magnificent list of guests including Kankkunen, Blomqvist, Auriol, Alen, Schwarz, Galli, Comas, Moya, Thorszelius and the prestigious forerunner Jari-Matti Latvala.

Republic of San Marino. While waiting for the official entry list, another two prestigious names add to the list of protagonists of Rallylegend 2014. The Finn Harri Rovanpera, official driver in the World Rally Championship from 1993 till 2006, will be driving a Peugeot 206 Wrc at Rallylegend, together with his co-driver Risto Pietilainen. Another compatriot, Harri Toivonen, will be present on a Porsche 911 RGT of the Tuthill team, an absolute novelty, as this car has never rallied in Italy nor in San Marino. They will take part to the event which is developing all inside the Republic of San Marino, scheduled next 9th-12th October.

Two aces who are going to enrich even more the “parterre-de-roi” of Rallylegend 2014, with great names already enrolled, as Juha Kankkunen, Stig Blomqvist, Didier Auriol, Markku Alen, Armin Schwarz, Gigi Galli, Eric Comas, Luis Moya, Hans Thorszelius and the highly prestigious forerunner Jari-Matti Latvala, together with many other national and international champions coming from all over Europe, Italy and from the Republic of San Marino.

Among these, the Dutch Piet Van Hoof and Van Jacobs (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IV) who won for the second time some days ago the title of the Dutch International Rally Championship and the Czech Vaclav Pech (Ford Rs 200), multi-champion in the national rallies of the Czech Republic. Also the Italian “Lucky” Battistolli (Ferrari 308 Gtb), among the quickest drivers of the ’70s and ’80s, has recently won the European Historic Rally Championship and he is currently heading also the Italian Historic Rally Championship.

Also a very well-known movie producer with many successful films in his cv, Robert Whitehouse, will be at Rallylegend, as in the past years: a rally enthusiast, he will be starting Rallylegend on a Lancia 037.

KÄRCHER WILL PRIZE THE WINNERS OF THE “HISTORIC” AT RALLYLEGEND

Kärcher will be protagonist of the 12th Rallylegend, with the title of Official Car Cleaner: leader in hydrocleaners and new entry among the event's sponsors, the company will take care of the washing operations of all the cars involved in the rally. The crew who will win the “Historic” category will also be prized with two Kärcher hydrocleaners of top range.
