Rallylegend: Entries open

Entries for the 13th Rallylegend are open starting from Monday July, 13th. The international event will be on stage next 7th-11th October in the Republic of San Marino.

Entries will close on Monday, September 14th.

The rally reserved to the most important cars which made the history of rallies, some of them still driven by the very champions who led them into the legend, is the peak of Rallylegend.

Last year the “Historic” category was dominated by two champions of the quality of Markku Alen and Ilkka Kivimaki, on the Lancia 037 K-Sport, while Didier Auriol, the 1994 world rally champion, won the Wrc-Kit Car Hankook Trophy on the Citroen Xsara Wrc of the D-Max Racing team, co-driven by Barjou. The “Myth” signed the victory of Mauro Miele, ex motocross and regularity motorbike champion, with Beltrame on his side on the Bmw M3.

But Rallylegend takes place in four days full of enthusiasm, in a unique and inimitable context with many initiatives, encounters with the best rally champions and great show within the Rallylegend Village, the real centre of the passion and beating heart of the event, set up at the San Marino Multieventi Sport Domus.

In 2014 Rallylegend gathered in San Marino almost sixty-thousand spectators and enthusiasts from all over Europe, with a media resonance that can be resumed in the presence of about 330 operators of the media sector (journalists, photographers, televisions, video-operators, websites supervisors) coming from twenty-two different countries and accredited by the Press Room.

THE PROGRAMME OF THE 13th RALLYLEGEND

Rallylegend 2015 will open its doors already on Wednesday, October 7th, with the opening of the Accreditation Centre and the road-books issuing to the competitors; during the night, the first reconnaissance section will start.

More into the event we will be on Thursday October, 8th with the opening of the Rally Village and of the Press Room. Reconnaissance of the route and the various special stages will take place the whole morning, while the special stage “The Legend” will be allowed in the afternoon.

Scheduled administrative checks will start at 14.00 at the Multieventi Sport Domus, while scrutineerings are foreseen in the close Olympic Stadium of Serravalle.

Thursday, October 8th the “Legend Parade” will also take place at 19.15, that is the presentation on the podium of the top drivers present at Rallylegend.

Friday, October 9th will start with the shakedown, at 9.00 and will end at 13.30. Meanwhile, the Rallylegend Village will see the composition of the Starting Park within the Olympic Stadium with compulsory entrance of all the verified cars. Then from 15.30 till 17.30, the “walkabout” by the audience will be allowed, a unique chance to admire the cars close in detail and altogether.

Day 1 of the 13th Rallylegend will begin at 18.30 and arrive around 23.30.

Saturday, October 10th a new “walkabout” section will be allowed for the audience at the Stadium from 9.00 until 12.00.

Day 2 will start at 13.30, with arrival foreseen at 19.00, followed then by the traditional Rallylegend Drivers Dinner.

Sunday, October 11th start of Day 3 of Rallylegend at 10.00, with final finish foreseen for about 14.00 and prize-giving ceremony on the podium.

The Closing ceremony of the 13th edition of Rallylegend will be at 16.30.

After the Programme, the calendar of the many other initiatives, meetings and encounters with the champions will be released, one of the must of the San Marino event. Among these, already announced, the Delta S4 Celebration and a tribute to Attilio Bettega.
