Dream entry list for The 10th Edition of Rallylegend

Defined the entry list of stellar members at Rallylegend number 10, both in the historic cars and the Special Group. Crowded with big names including the Legend WRC Event. Great show by Legend Stars, just show with no stopwatch. The new VW Polo R Wrc exceptional forerunner, a world exclusive. The race program: a special stage show at night of Friday, October 12th, and two stages Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th. Republic of San Marino. It 's the most awaited moment, the event that thousands of fans are waiting with great enthusiasm. Rallylegend, the race, the two time trial challenges that represent the highest point of passion for four days with the history of the rally, is ready.

The entry list of participants is also ready, one hundred and sixty crews at the start, preceded by the spectacular Legend Stars and by Volkswagen Polo R Wrc with Carlos Sainz at the wheel, which is the great world exclusive by Rallylegend 2012.

In the meantime, the structure of Rallylegend Village is getting complete, with the stage of arrival and departure standing out, connected to Rallylegend Café and Rallylegend Arena, which will host many meetings and initiatives.

Under construction also hospitalities, open to the public, by partners of the event, led by Volkswagen, with the presence of the Vw Polo R Wrc and some cars from the Historical Museum, Magneti Marelli Checkstar, IWC Orologi, historic Rallylegend supporter, Bank Asset and Sparco.

Obviously Juha Kankkunen (Lancia Delta Integrale), Bjorn Waldegaard (Mercedes 500 SLC), Sandro Munari (Lancia Stratos), Jacky Ickx (Porsche 911), Per Eklund (VW Golf GTI), Gustavo Trelles (Toyota Celica St 205), Carlos Sainz, leading the way with the new VW Polo R Wrc, Markku Alen (Lancia 037), Harald Demuth (Audi Sport Quattro), Sepp Wiegand on VW G60, Michael Gerber (Audi Quattro S1) confirmed their presence. Walter Rohrl won’t be present, engaged at the last moment with urgent session of technical tests in Germany.

Many Italian rallies champions, among them "Lucky" (Ferrari 308 GTB), Federico Ormezzano (Talbot Lotus), Bruno Bentivogli (Alfetta GTV6), Graziano Rossi (Ford Sierra Cosworth), Alex Fiorio (Lancia Delta), Chantal Galli ( Lancia Delta Hf), while among the Legend Stars there will be Luca Pedersoli, with a Lancia Delta Integrale and Paolo Valli, racing organizer of Rallylegend. But above all it will be interesting to follow the amazing crew made of Beppe Volta and the engineer Claudio Lombardi, with Lancia 037 among Legend Stars ...

Among the recent prestigious registrations: the inclusion of the always fast Gabriele Noberasco, at the start with Audi Quattro, the acrobatic Manrico Falleri (Lancia Delta 16V) and Mauro Miele (Bmw M3).

Nourished as always the team of San Marino drivers, led by Stefano Rosati (Talbot Lotus), Giuliano Calzolari (Ford Escort Rs), Marcello Colombini (BMW M3) and Walter Meloni (BMW M3).

Of great importance, as always, the presence of women at the wheel or notes. There are more than thirty women in the race, including names such as Fabrizia Pons, Betty Tognana, Micky Martinelli as co-driver and Mara Bariani, with three all-female crews, Chantal Galli and Nicoletta De Dominici (Lancia Delta Hf) among Historic Cars, Giovanna Rubini and Anastasia Pasolini (A122) in the Special Group and Fiorenza Soave with Patrizia Boschini (Fiat Ritmo 125) among Legend Stars.

BIG NAMES IN THE LEGEND WRC EVENT MAXIMUM ERCOLANI

There are fifteen crew members registered at Legend Wr Event, with a nice mix of cars, with World Rally cars and Kit Cars of early times, named in memory of Massimo Ercolani, the greatest San Marino rally driver. The Estonian Markko Martin, with the Ford Focus Wrc is the most notable name for his past on the World Rally Championship rankings, but will find a hard time especially with the San Marino driver Denis Colombini (Peugeot 206 WRC), the Italian Tobia Cavallini (Subaru Impreza WRC) and the swiss Max Beltrami (Peugeot 206 WRC).

AT RALLYLEGEND ARENA CELEBRATION OF THE THIRTY YEARS OF FERRARI 308 GTB VICTORY

"Ferrari 308 Gtb 1982-2012." Thirty years after the only Italian title won by Ferrari in the rally, right at rally San Marino, the historic feat will be remembered in the Rallylegend Arena, appointment on Saturday, October 13th at 12:30 pm. Tonino Tognana, winner of the national title, along with Massimo De Antoni will be celebrating, together with "Lucky", "Tony" Fassina, Federico Ormezzano, Rudy Dal Pozzo, all major players of those unique times rallies.

MAGNETI MARELLI AT RALLYLEGEND: A FULL SPECTRUM PRESENCE

Very active, as for some years now, the participation of Magneti Marelli at Rallylegend from A to Z: two cars with the colors of the team Magneti Marelli in the race, Juha Kankkunen (Delta Integrale) and Gustavo Trelles (Toyota Celica St 205), an important support to the participation of Lancia 037 by Markku Alen. Great show, instead, with Luca Pedersoli in Legend Stars, driving the Delta Integrale 16v by MM Checkstar team and that will bring on board Marelli guests and people by surprise, making show for the spectators. At the Magneti Marelli Checkstar stand at Rallylegend Village, then, there will be a fixed location of Sky, which will coordinate the reporting of cameras following the event with updates on air. The crackling start of Rallylegend 2012 will be on Friday, October 12th Rallylegend Village, at 21.00, with the dispute of Special night Stage, arriving at 21.30. Rallylegend then resumes on Saturday, October 13th at 15:30 at Rallylegend Village, where it will come back at 22.00.

The second leg will start on Sunday, October 14th at 10:00 am, with final arrival ceremony on stage at 15.15.
