Haddon Paddon: Rally Liburna Ronde Terra

We have had another good weekend here in Italy competing in rally Liburna Ronde Terra in Tuscany. The road for this event was faster than the rally that we did two weeks ago but did include a lot more uphill sections which hampered our performance a little in our Group N car, compared to our WRC car rivals.

Nevertheless we finished 2nd today, behind a local WRC driver with more WRC cars behind us. But most importantly for the team we won Group N. It has been a very enjoyable two events here in Italy and a big thank you to the HRT Motorsport team for inviting us here and doing a great job.

Now our focus switches back to our SWRC program and we have a busy 2 weeks coming up. Mid this week we travel to south of Spain where we will have a 2 day gravel test with our Skoda our first test with the car on gravel. This will not only set us up for Rally Portugal the following week but we also hope to find a good gravel base set-up that we can then tweak for each event. Our team, ASM Motorsport have been working hard since Sweden and the car is looking great.
